Her first screen kiss was with Wil Wheaton on "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (1987). Turned down a larger role in Kuffs (1992) because she was asked to do nude scenes. She responded, "My mother worked too hard for me to take my clothes off in my first movie." Was named one of "The 50 Most Beautful People In The World" by People Magazine. (1996, 2000 & 2002) She had a role in Oliver Stone's Natural Born Killers (1994), but it was left on the cutting room floor. Replaced Jodie Foster for the lead in Double Jeopardy (1999). Could have had Pamela Anderson's role on "Home Improvement" (1991), but wanted to concentrate on making it in the movies instead. She later starred in Where the Heart Is (2000), which was directed by Matt Williams, the producer who wanted her on the sitcom. Known to be a avid fan of the University of Kentucky Wildcats basketball team, once not showering because she felt it would jinx them. For a cheerleading scene in her movie Someone Like You... (2001), she uses the Wildcats' cheerleaders' cheer routine, and thanks them in the credits. |

Britney Jean Spears was born in rural Louisiana (Kentwood) on December 2, 1981, to Jamie and Lynne Spears. As a child, Britney attended dance classes, and she was great at gymnastics, winning many competitions and the like. But, most of all, Britney loved to sing. At age 8, Britney tried out for "MMC" (1989), but was turned down due to her young age. This directed her to an off-Broadway show, "Ruthless", for a 2-year run as the title character. At age 11, she again tried for "MMC" (1989) and this time made it as a mouseketeer along side many stars of today (Justin Timberlake and J.C. Chasez of N*Sync and Ryan Gosling). Her big break, however, came when she was signed as a Jive Recording Artist in the late 90s. With the release of her debut album, "...Baby One More Time" in early 1999, Britney became an international success, selling 13 million copies of "Baby" and 9 million (as of July 2001) of her sophomore album, "Oops!...I Did It Again," released in May of 2000. |

Charlize Theron was born in Benoni, a little farming community outside Johannesburg, South Africa on August 7th, 1975. Her mother, Gerda, is German, while her late father, Charles, was French (she was named after her him). Charlize began her modeling career in 1991, at 16, when she won a local modeling contest. Her first role was as a young mother in a park in a B-film in 1995, but it was a non-speaking role with three seconds of screen time. Her next role was as Helga in 2 Days in the Valley (1996), which landed her the role of Tina in That Thing You Do! (1996). Since then, she has starred in movies like The Devil's Advocate (1997), Mighty Joe Young (1998), The Cider House Rules (1999), The Legend of Bagger Vance (2000) and The Italian Job (2003). Demi Moore was born 1962 in Roswell, New Mexico. Her father left her mother, Victoria, before Demi was born. Her stepfather, Danny Guynes, didn't add much stability to her life, either. He frequently changed jobs and made the family move a total of 40 times. Demi quit school at the age of 16 to work as a pin-up-girl. At 18, she married rock musician Freddie Moore; the marriage lasted four years. At 19, she became a regular on the TV show "General Hospital" (1963). From the first salaries, she started partying and sniffing cocaine. That lasted more than 3 years, until director Joel Schumacher fired her from the set of St. Elmo's Fire (1985) when she turned up high. She got a withdrawal treatment and returned clean after a week... and stayed clean. With determination and a skill for publicity stunts, like the nude appearance on the cover of Vanity Fair while pregnant, she made her way to fame. Since the huge commercial success of Ghost (1990) and the controversial pictures Indecent Proposal (1993) and Disclosure (1994), she's one of Hollywood's most sought-after and most expensive actresses. |

A tape featuring Miss New York 2000, Carrie Tucker, who also competed for the Miss America Pageant in the same year has surfaced. Here's some background on her from a vision centre she promotes. "Lovely Carrie Tucker, Miss New York USA 2000, simply didn't want to wear her glasses... I didn't realize what I wasn't seeing, like the flowers in the garden across the street. Its truly amazing," she added. "As Miss New York, a lot of demands are made on my time. By having LASIK (laser eye surgery), keeping track of my glasses won't be one of them". Yes, the LASIK seems to have worked just fine, and at least we know she's making good use of her time. |

Caroline Ducey is a French actress, born in 1977, who made her feature film debut in Trop de bonheur (1994), playing Mathilde. She worked sparingly in the next five years, appearing in No?l! No?l! (1995) and Familles je vous hais (1997) before causing a big stir in the film Romance (1999). As her frustration mounts she finds her sexual appetites leading her into ever more risky situations, including a sexual relationship with the headmaster of her school. Now there are plenty of films that run along that same sort of plot line, but Romance differed itself by showing it's actors actually having hardcore sex. Caroline performed oral sex numerous times in the film, in addition to having unsimulated sex with porn star Rocco Siffredi. There's a lot more juicy stuff in the film, and you can imagine that is caused quite a stir, given the fact that it was a mainstream film, and not a porn (I guess it's not quite mainstream). It made a tiny bit of money in the US (just over $1 million) and caused a bit of a stir. After that film Caroline has had little trouble getting work, appearing in numerous French films. |
